Inspired by “The God Who Speaks” – the national Scripture initiative of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales in partnership with the Bible Society, our Bible club offers a welcoming space to read, pray, and reflect together.
Our Approach
No Homework Needed
You don’t need to read anything in advance. We read and explore the text together during the session.
No Pressure to Speak
You will never be put on the spot to read aloud or answer questions. If you prefer to simply sit back, listen, and take it in, you are warmly welcome.
No Prior Knowledge Required
You don’t need to be a Bible expert or know any theology. Come with your questions, curiosity, or simply an open mind.

Our Bible club is a safe and respectful space for anyone seeking to reflect on the Word of God and share fellowship together.
What to Expect at a Session

Coffee & Catch UpWe start by catching up and simply checking in on how everyone’s week has been.

Hearing the WordWe read a selected short passage or Scripture chapter out loud together.

Video or Campaign InsightWe watch a brief video snippet or view a visual timeline commentary provided by our national partners to give us context.

Open DiscussionWe chat through 2 or 3 simple, pre-prepared questions. We focus on how the text relates to our daily life.

Prayer & ActionWe close with a short prayer of encouragement to help us carry the wisdom of the Scriptures into our daily lives.
