In today’s world, managing everyday tasks, accessing healthcare, and staying connected requires digital confidence. Yet, millions of people still face barriers that keep them offline. That is why Get Online Week (19–25 October 2026) focuses on bridging this gap and ensuring nobody gets left behind in our digital society.
Here at Champions of Destiny Foundation, we believe everyone deserves the tools and skills to thrive, not just survive. We are breaking down these digital barriers right here in our community through our ongoing digital inclusion projects:
Free Mobile Data & SIM Cards: As part of our membership with the National Digital Inclusion Network, we distribute free SIM cards loaded with data from the National Databank to help you get connected without the financial strain.
Our Weekly Community Digital Café: Every Saturday from 10.30am to 1pm, our doors at the Elms Community Centre (Whitefield, M45 7FD) are open. Pop in for a friendly space where you can build your digital skills at your own pace with our supportive team.
Whether you want to learn how to navigate your smartphone, browse the web safely, or confidently use digital services like the NHS App, we are here to walk with you step by step.
