Last Saturday at our food pantry, we experienced one of those incredibly special moments that reminds us why we do what we do. The wonderful Mehta family walked through our doors with a generous donation of food items – all given in honour of their loved one.

Every single week, our team works hard to provide vital food support to neighbours who are going through tough times. Right now, eight local families including a household with five young children depend entirely on our pantry for their weekly meals. They often tell us that this support is a lifeline for them when things get difficult.

It’s kind hearts like the Mehta family who make this work possible. They turned a personal time of remembering a loved one into a beautiful act of kindness that will put meals on tables for families right here in our community.

We want to say a massive thank you to the Mehta family for choosing the our Food Pantry for their charity outreach. Your kind generosity keeps our doors open and brings so much hope to those who need it most!
